Overview: Museum of Brisbane is developing a new education program targeted for year 6 school students (11-12 years old) about the Federation of Australia, focused on Queensland and the people who voted in the 1899 referendum.
Brief: Illustrate 25 characters that represent a broad section of the Queensland population in 1899. Each illustration to match the character description provided which includes: gender, age, ethnicity and occupation.

Brisbane Children’s Writers Festival
Overview: The Brisbane Children’s Writers Festival was a new initiative by the Queensland Writers Centre with the aim to create an event for young writers stemming from their program Youth Writing Saturdays.
Brief: To develop an eye-catching artwork to feature on the marketing collateral for the Brisbane Children’s Writers Festival. The artwork and illustrations should be suitable for publications, collateral and merchandise.
